Flavia Jonathan Lupus and Nubia are friends and detectives. they sail to the bay of Naples to spend the summer with flavias uncle who lives near Pom Peii. There they uncover a riddle that may lead them to great treasure. Meanwhile tremors shake the ground and the animals behave strangely and people dream impending doom. One of the worst natural disasters of all time is about to happen which is the eruption of mount Vesuvius.

The problem of the book is that the kids are trying to find a

person in the boat.

They solve the problem by finding the person in the boat.

In the end of the story the volcano erupts and that is the happy ending because everyone is alive.

I think this book is awesome. The adventures were cool. I wish i was her because she is brave.
